Course Description

CA

The Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is one of India's leading professional qualifications in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Finance and Business.

Chartered Accountancy assessments ensure only competent professionals qualify, evaluating technical skills, ethics, and professional values. The exam structure progresses from basic knowledge at the Foundation level to advanced application in the Final stage. The CA Final course covers financial reporting, strategic management, auditing, and ethics.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA Foundation syllabus for students aspiring to become Chartered Accountants. The exam, consisting of four papers, is open to those who have completed or are appearing for Class 12. Clearing the Foundation exam is the first step toward the CA journey, followed by further courses and exams.

The CA journey consists of three levels:

  • CA Foundation – Covers the fundamentals of accounting, business laws, quantitative aptitude, and economics.
  • CA Intermediate – Focuses on advanced accounting, taxation, auditing, financial management, corporate and other relevant laws.
  • CA Final – Deals with advanced financial reporting, strategic financial management, auditing, taxation, and professional ethics.

Challenges in this journey are not roadblocks; they are stepping stones to your professional excellence.
